This book made me cry. Three times!!! I hardly ever cry while reading a book. This was an amazing, wonderful, and awesome book! There are not enough adjectives to praise this book with so you will have to read it and come up with your own adjectives. This book won the National Book Award last week and is well deserving of that award. In a nut shell this story is about 3 teens who had been separated as small children and put up for adoption. Sixteen years later when one of the girls puts her own baby up for adoption, they find each other. There is so much hurt from their past that they all struggle with trust and forgiveness and loving themselves. The author does a great job showing their struggles and what it means to be a family whether you share DNA or not.
