Goodreads Book Summary
Following a bloody battle against foes on every side, Paige Mahoney has risen to the dangerous position of Underqueen, ruling over London’s criminal population.
But, having turned her back on Jaxon Hall and with vengeful enemies still at large, the task of stabilising the fractured underworld has never seemed so challenging.
Little does Paige know that her reign may be cut short by the introduction of Senshield, a deadly technology that spells doom for the clairvoyant community and the world as they know it.
My Review-4.5 stars
Just like the first two books in this series, The Song Rising is an imaginative and absolutely brilliant dystopian fantasy story. It is action packed from page one. There are so many layers to the plot that push the story forward but doesn’t make it hard to follow. The romance of the two main characters, Paige and Warden, is not overdone and sappy. I look forward to the next four books in this series.
I LOVED The Song Rising. Can’t wait to get my physical copy!

I still haven’t read The Mime Order…and I’ve had it since it released. I’ve sort of forgotten what the series even about now. 😦 I enjoyed The Handmaid’s Tale, though it’s one of those novels that I think I was angry the entire time I was reading.
I hope you have a great week and enjoy your upcoming books!

I love the arrow vectors! Wow, quite a cover design change on that third The Bone Season book! I didn’t realize there was going to be four more. I have to drop back and hit your dog book reviews. Yay for the Newbery Award book! I will be looking forward to your review as well as your A Handmaids Tale review. The Roanoke Girls cover is wonderful. I love Maggie Smith great deal find. The Houdini book looks good too. Thanks for TMTing! 😀

I think there are four more. I thought she said it was a seven book series but I could be making that up lol. I think I am going to try and read the Printz honor books too. Or at least half. Want to join me? They started that list in 2000.

I think NetGalley archived it suddenly. I was lucky I had downloaded on my kindle.

At least the wait isn’t too long! I thought it was coming out in November of this year and was pleasantly surprised to see March.
