More Happy Than Not
Not many books catch me by surprise but this one did! This book is so amazing. It is so beautifully written that it is hard to believe this is a debut novel! I highly recommend this book for older teens dealing with bullying and figuring out who they are. I look forward to many more books by Mr. Silvera.

LOVE,LOVE,LOVE this book. I reread it this year and I still cried even thought I knew how it was going to end. Such a beautiful book about friendship and love. The writing style is fabulous and kept the pacing of the book going. I recommend this book to teens everywhere especially if you are dealing with bullying, being gay, or have a friend dealing with these things.
The 57 Lives of Alex Wayfare (Alex Wayfare #1
byShaun David Hutchinson(Goodreads Author)
This was a fun fantasy book to read. The main character gets bullied for being a freak because he believes he is abducted by aliens. His family life is horrible so you just can’t help but root for him. There were even times if I believed he was being abducted by aliens. I don’t want to reveal too much more but this is a great read. The author’s writing is funny and real. I have not read other books by Hutchinson but I will definitely check them out now.
I wish I could give this book more than five stars. It is such a beautifully written book. It is both hilarious and heart breaking. Even though everyone is against him, including most of his family, the main character is desperately trying to change his fate. This is such a great example for teens who also feel trapped and without options. I applaud the author for giving Native Americans of today a voice. I have personally met kids like the main character and they have described the reservation just like the author did, desolate and hopeless. I highly recommend this eye opening book for not just teens but teachers and adults as well.
