GOODREADS

I enjoyed this book way more than I thought I would!  I had a couple snow days off from work so I was able to read this one quickly.  There are a couple twists that I definitely did not see coming!  The writing was fast paced and kept me on my toes.  A definite must read for mystery lovers.

I checked these out from my local library.

Book Blurb

“I live here alone in a garage, together with a laptop computer and an old hand grenade. It’s pretty cozy.”

Herra Björnsson is at the beginning of the end of her life. Oh, she has two weeks left, maybe three—she has booked her cremation appointment, at a crispy 1,000 degrees, so it won’t be long. But until then she has her cigarettes, a World War II–era weapon, some Facebook friends, and her memories to sustain her.

Book Blurb

Melville Heights is one of the nicest neighborhoods in Bristol, England; home to doctors and lawyers and old-money academics. It’s not the sort of place where people are brutally murdered in their own kitchens. But it is the sort of place where everyone has a secret. And everyone is watching you.

The Book Blogger Hop is put on by The Coffee Addicted Writer . There is a weekly prompt featuring a book related question.

THIS WEEK’S QUESTION IS SUBMITTED BY Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews.

This weeks prompt is…

How many books did you read last year? Will your goal be to match it or surpass it?

My answer…

I upped my goal by one book but hopefully I will read more than that!

I didn’t finish Woman at 1000 degrees. It jumped all over the place and I couldn’t keep track of what was going on. However, I do think many people would enjoy it. I skipped to the end and read the last couple chapters. lol

The Wife Between Us and Watching You look interesting and a little creepy. I always go for about 150 books. I figure 2 books and 1 audiobook a week but it’s been closer to 4 since I most always get in 2 audiobooks also. Good luck and enjoy your reading! Anne – Books of My Heart

The title of The Library of Lost and Found has caught my attention, I’ll have to check it out.

The last few years I’ve aimed for 150, I keep getting close so I’m headed there again this year.
