Tell Me Tuesday is a weekly blog feature put on by La La in the Library. It is where we discuss what we have been, currently are, and will be reading. What are you reading? Tell me.
WHAT I READ LAST
Both were excellent books! Click HERE for a review of Darius The Great is Not Okay. A review of 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle still to come.
CURRENTLY READING
“This is a compassionate look at poverty, hard choices, and defending one’s right to be treated humanely. A very fine first novel, written with a deft hand.” –Newbery Medal Winner, Karen Hesse
WHAT I AM READING NEXT
I am co-hosting the 2nd annual Dog Days of Summer Reading challenge with La La in the Library starting August 1st. Check out the details to join us HERE! Basically you read as many books about dogs as you want in August. Here is the first one I am going to read.
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Aw Lessons from Tara looks cute…
I’ve heard the Book Thief is quite good.

The Book Thief is excellent. It is told from the perspective of death.

I didn’t add Harry Potter to my list but it’s really a quite obvious choice. I really loved Eleanor & Park though although I think Landline, by Rowell, could have possibly made it to my
“Did not live up to the hype” list.

I agree!!! Landline was meh. She hasn’t written much since.

I loved Wonder and The Martian. I still haven’t seen either movie. I should see if my library or Hoopla have them online. I have the ebooks of Part-Time Indian, and Mosquitoland and should go straight away to put them on the 2019 post I started drafting a couple of weeks ago; along with Ove and The Book Thief because Hoopla has those. I might get to Eleanor and Park at some point. Of course HARRY POTTER all the time! Ha ha. 📚✨
Thanks for TMTing! 💜

I haven’t seen the Wonder movie because the book is so good I just do t think a movie could do it justice. The Martian movie is really good. There are a few minor things left out but overall very true to the book and Matt Damon was amazing in it.

I like that you took a photo. I’ve read most of the books in your stack and loved them. Harry Potter and The Book Thief made my list, too.
