Tell Me Tuesday is a weekly blog feature put on by La La in the Library. It is where we discuss what we have been, currently are, and will be reading. What are you reading? Tell me.

Emerson, Georgia, and Marley have been best friends ever since they met at a weight-loss camp as teens. When Emerson tragically passes away, she leaves one final wish for her best friends: to conquer the fears they still carry as adults.
WHAT I AM READING NEXT
Book Blurb
An accomplished concert pianist, Richard received standing ovations from audiences all over the world in awe of his rare combination of emotional resonance and flawless technique. Every finger of his hands was a finely calibrated instrument, dancing across the keys and striking each note with exacting precision. That was eight months ago.
Richard now has ALS, and his entire right arm is paralyzed. His fingers are impotent, still, devoid of possibility. The loss of his hand feels like a death, a loss of true love, a divorce—his divorce.
He knows his left arm will go next.
Three years ago, Karina removed their framed wedding picture from the living room wall and hung a mirror there instead. But she still hasn’t moved on. Karina is paralyzed by excuses and fear, stuck in an unfulfilling life as a piano teacher, afraid to pursue the path she abandoned as a young woman, blaming Richard and their failed marriage for all of it.
When Richard becomes increasingly paralyzed and is no longer able to live on his own, Karina becomes his reluctant caretaker. As Richard’s muscles, voice, and breath fade, both he and Karina try to reconcile their past before it’s too late.
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
THIS WEEK’S TOP TEN TUESDAY TOPIC IS…
Frequently Used Words In [Insert Genre/Age Group] Titles but I thought that was too hard (for me) so I am going to list instead…
The most intriguing/unique titles of books that I have read.
Wow, Every Last Note sounds kind of intense and a tad depressing. Hope you are enjoying it though. I’m about 2/3 through with “Let Me Lie” and about 1/3 through with “Dread Nation” and enjoying them both. I LOVE your twist on today’s topic. I agree with your comment over at The Farm, the last few weeks have seemed especially difficult. Here’s hoping for an easy spell!

Some of these are so good! I love Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and Aristotle and Dante, and I always wondered (before I read it) why The Hunger Games were called that.
Little Big Love and Good Luck With That both look good.

This week’s topic was a toughie! I like your take on it. Unique titles always catch my attention as long as they’re not so unique that I’m confused about what they even mean. The ones you listed are great examples of intriguing (but not confusing) titles.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

Every Last Note sounds heart-wrenching. Jason Becker, a Metal guitarist from the 80s, has ALS and his father developed a sign language alphabet with eye movements for him. He is totally paralyzed, but he can communicate with his eyes and he still writes music. 💜
You had a great idea for a replacement prompt! 👍

Thanks! It was a heart wrenching book. I don’t know anyone with ALS but what a horrible disease.
