Tell Me Tuesday is a weekly blog feature put on by La La in the Library. It is where we discuss what we have been, currently are, and will be reading. What are you reading? Tell me.
What I Read Last
I did not realize that a big part of this book takes place in Iceland. I spent 24 hours in Iceland last March so it was interesting to read the author’s descriptions of that beautiful island country. I could picture it perfectly from the descriptions.
I bought this book in Kindle in Motion format for $1.99. I love the moving illustrations and the illustrations in this book are beautiful. I believe the current price is now $3.99
CURRENTLY READING
Book Blurb
Kate Harker wants to be as ruthless as her father. After five years and six boarding schools, she’s finally going home to prove that she can be.
August Flynn wants to be human. But he isn’t. He’s a monster, one that can steal souls with a song. He’s one of the three most powerful monsters in a city overrun with them. His own father’s secret weapon.
Their city is divided.
Their city is crumbling.
Kate and August are the only two who see both sides, the only two who could do something.
But how do you decide to be a hero or a villain when it’s hard to tell which is which?
WHAT I AM READING NEXT
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

I can see re- reading the Hunger Games at some point, I loved them when I read them recently! Some of the Narnia and Little House books might fall in that category too. Dogtripping looks fun!

I still love reading the Little House books. It is amazing how different their lives were. I remember watching the show too. I thought I heard they were going to reboot the show but haven’t heard anything lately.

I only re-read a select few books and one of them is the HP series, which I usually read at least one or two books from it each year.
I haven’t read a good chunk of your Top Ten lists though. I’ve read the HG series and the Narnia book, but not any of the others. I’ve been meaning to try out the Little House series, but just haven’t gotten around to it.

I love the first Narnia book which was actually written last I think. I love reading how Narnia formed. I think HP was on a lot of lists!

I’ve got to checkout Dogtripping. One of the members on MyLeaky had a sister who drove shelter dogs north for Pet Finder, and she shared some pretty funny stories with us. 😁
I need to re-read When You Reach Me. Knowing the ending makes me want to go back and find the foreshadowing that I missed. 📚
Thanks, as always, for TMTing. 💜

Dogtripping is so funny but yet sobering. I met the author a year or so ago and he is hilarious. I follow him in Facebook and he will post videos of his 20 or more dogs at his house. It is insane!!!

I’ll have to follow him, too. 🐶

I’m not a big re-reader, but I could definitely re-experience Hogwarts forever. I’m in the middle of re-reading HP for the first time and it’s so fun 🙂 I also just started re-reading the Little House series for the first time since I was a kid. Very nostalgic. I’m glad you love these series, too!
Happy TTT (on a Thursday)!
