Tell Me (Top Ten) Tuesday

Tell Me Tuesday is a weekly blog feature hosted by LA LA in the LIBRARY.  It is where we discuss what we have been, will be, and are currently reading.  What are you reading? Tell me.

Andy Weir is 2 for 2! I thought this was another creative book about surviving in space.  I love his humor that he gives to his characters.  My favorite thing was that the main character was a female and she was the smartest one in the book.

I have been waiting a long time to read this one.  It is about adoption which intrigues me since I am the oldest of 9 adopted kids.

Book Blurb

Makani Young thought she’d left her dark past behind her in Hawaii, settling in with her grandmother in landlocked Nebraska. She’s found new friends and has even started to fall for mysterious outsider Ollie Larsson. But her past isn’t far behind.

Then, one by one, the students of Osborne Hugh begin to die in a series of gruesome murders, each with increasingly grotesque flair. As the terror grows closer and her feelings for Ollie intensify, Makani is forced to confront her own dark secrets.

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and Bookish. Each week they will post a new Top Ten list.  This week’s Top Ten list is…

Top Ten Books I am Thankful For

Poor Trixie has been scratching her ears and belly so I took her to the vet.  She has bacteria and yeast in her ears and allergies causing all the itching.  She was so good for the doctor and just sat and waited patiently for her lab results.

I am so happy to see Bethany’s book on your list! Too many people misinterpreted her story. 🚍

I didn’t know that the MC of Artemis was a woman! I am more interested in reading it now. I loved The Martian. πŸš€

Poor Trixie. I hope the medications clear her problems quickly. We had a dog that was allergic to grass of all things. πŸ•

Have a fabulous holiday, and thank you for TMTing. πŸ’œ

Hope Trixie feels better soon. Sounds like she did awesome at the vet. I am wanting to give Artemis a chance. I saw it at Walmart but figured since I wouldn’t read it soon, I’d wait to get it from my library. Glad you enjoyed it so much. I LOVE that cover of Old Dog.
