Tell Me Tuesday is a weekly blog feature put on by LA LA IN THE LIBRARY. It is where we talk about what books we will be reading this week. What books are you reading? Tell us.
THIS MONTH I WILL BE PARTICIPATING IN THE DOG DAYS OF SUMMER READING CHALLENGE!
It is hard to believe that it is almost August! Summer has flown by and we are in the home stretch before school starts up again. LA LA IN THE LIBRARY and I are going to be reading and recommending some amazing dog books in the month of August. I have 3 or 4 that I am going to read. Here are my choices.
If you want to participate and need a couple of dog book recommendations, here are a few of my favorites.
The first two books talk about how amazing working dogs are, for example, saving hundreds of lives sniffing out bombs in the Middle East to being a therapy dog for veterans with PTSD. The third book is the hilarious true story of a husband and wife who moved from California to Maine with their 25 senior rescue dogs. The last book is another great book about a girl and her HUGE dog Gizelle living in New York City. Feel free to check out my DOG BOOKS page for more ideas.
PLEASE JOIN US IN THIS FUN READING CHALLENGE AND TELL US WHAT DOG BOOKS YOU READ.
If you do any canine related blogging let us know and we will link it in our posts!
PUPDATE!
Trixie is still doing amazing! She turned 12 in July. I love the first picture of her sleeping. She always puts her paw over her nose. So adorable. My niece stayed with me this weekend and she loved cuddling with her. My five year old niece begged to take Trixie on walks. If you notice in the picture she is wearing her princess shoes and tiara haha!
ARC AUGUST is put on by Read Sleep Repeat. It is where we try to read as many ARCs (Advance Reading Copies) as possible in August. I have four that I am going to try to read in August. They are shown below.
Looks like I have a lot of reading ahead of me in August!
Now I have another way to embarrass my son. When I move and can have a dog, I am going to wear a tiara when I walk it. Ha ha. Thank your niece for the great idea. 😀
You know, I swear I had an ARC of The Inside Of a Dog, but it isn’t in my docs. I will have to buy it if I see the ebook on sale. Tell me when you are ready to read Welcome Home. 🙂
I am signing up for ARC August tomorrow. It is the first time in two years I have more than two ARCs to read for it. I am happy to be able to participate, but having as many ARCs to read as I do right now is sad. 😦
THANKS FOR TMTing! ❤

Oh, I just saw you are reading Little Fires Everywhere. That book intrigues me and I will be interested in your thoughts on it. 🙂

Aw, what a cute idea! I love pups! But I have so many ARCs to read, that I wouldn’t be able to do that challenge.
Good luck with your challenges. 🙂

Okay, I have tons of dog books so I’m going to join in and at least read one. I will get my post up this weekend so I can help more people learn about this!

This is such a fun challenge. What a clever idea. My youngest lived in those Princess shoes and walked better in them than most woman in heels..Lol
